The Mezzanine
At The National Newark Building
The Mezzanine at National Newark Building is one of New Jersey’s most spectacular ballroom settings with a rich history. Built in 1931, this 34 story neoclassical masterpiece was the tallest building in Newark until 1989 and one of the first skyscrapers in the area. Then, a 55 million dollar renovation integrated this stunning original Art Deco style with the most modern amenities. The ballroom boasts soaring ceilings, windows with amazing views, gilded motifs and moulding, imported marble floor, and glimmers of crystal and brass that will add glamour to any affair.
The Mezzanine is seven miles from Manhattan in historic Newark, NJ. Conveniently located just steps from Newark Penn Station and near NJPAC, the Prudential Center and The Newark Museum, this award-winning skyscraper offers all the beauty and sophistication of the city without crossing the river. The Mezzanine can accommodate large weddings and celebrations.
