Ela’s day started at her home in Bloomfield NJ. As I arrived, hair and makeup was underway and Ela’s dog greeted me at the door wearing a tux! I loved all of Ela’s vintage details! Once everyone was ready, the stretch limo arrived to pick the girls up.
Everyone headed to The Newark Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart Catholic church! I absolutely love this church! The architecture is spectacular and reminds me of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in midtown Manhattan. As soon as the Bride arrived, everyone got in place in a hurry to get the ceremony started! The ceremony was beautiful! After, everyone gathered outside for family portraits! The grand church was a perfect backdrop for them! Before anyone left, Ela and Marcus had a Champaign toast by their Rolls Royce!
Everyone traveled to The Castle at Skylands Manor in Ringwood NJ. We went around the beautiful grounds at the venue for a few more wedding party photographs. They went ahead to the indoor cocktail hour while we finished up with Bride and Groom images. All of the guests were guided upstairs to be seated for the introductions! After the first dances, Marcus danced with both his mother and stepmother. The live band had everyone dancing all night long! Congratulations Ela and Marcus!
